"You get what you pay for in a winch. I have bought several lower priced winches and saved money, only to find that when out on the trail when I needed it most, the winch let me down.
I finally graduated to this exact winch and I have no worrries with it. It does the job for exactly what it was intended to do. And it does it everytime. I rate this as excellent because I have had flawless service out of mine!"

"I have one of these units on the front of my tow truck and use the air compressor almost daily to inflate tires and run air powered equipment. I have used the winch to do one self recovery, but its a bit too light for much of that, since my truck weighs in at 13,000 pounds."
