Neutral, free wheel position for quick line pay out without spinning the handle. Gear ration of 5.1:1 and 12.2:1.

"Winch construction is good. All functions work well. Handles heavy pulls well. Was easy to install and is made out of heavy material. Crank works well. The secondary gears which allows lower speeds is a good function . Drum capacity is larger than most similar winches I have used and this is a good function. A very good winch."
