"This winch is an OEM component on a heavy duty crank-up radio antenna tower. This year, I replaced the Fulton winch that came with the tower for the first time. The original winch survived 20 years outdoors without maintenance other than occasional lubrication. This was an exact replacement and works like a charm. It operates easily and provides tremendous control when lowering the tower. The new winch has an improved crank, which makes it work even easier. The plating on the original winch still looked good after 20 years, and the only problem that it ever had was related to the clutch disks which are availble from Fulton. Great company and superior product."

"I am buying my 2nd of these great winches. I had the first one on a pontoon drop trailer to lift a 28' pontoon on and off blocking. I needed it on a car trailer to pull cars onto it so I used the old one there and am now buying a new one for the pontoon trailer.
The only fault that I could possibly have with this winch is that it's pretty slow when bringing in slack cable. It would be REALLY nice if it had another speed for no load cable takeup. The brake is very good and has held any load I've used on it including full sized cars when about half way up the ramps of my hauler which are pretty steep.
All in all I believe this to be an excellent product that will give years of good service. My old one is now about 12 years old and is just now starting to get some rust on it."
