"Unquestionably the best quality winch for the money. Heavy construction, reinforced in the right places, smooth operation and heavily plated. I expect it to outlast the cable. For wire-rope, it needs a larger diameter spool core, but that's easily built-up using old strapping."

"I replaced my old boat winch with this new Fulton strap type. I highly recommend straps over ropes or cables. They don't bind together and are easier to pull out than cable."
