"This winch really does the work of a larger and more expensive unit. I have it mounted on the front of a 18' car trailer with a 2' dove tail, and it hasn't let me down or even made me wonder if it was gonna pull what needed to be loaded. It replaced the lighter duty Warn works 1700lb. unit which just wasn't up for the task. The trailer is rated for 7000lb. loads and I honestly think this winch would easily pull a vehicle up on it that would overload the trailer. I love this winch and would recommend to anyone needing a strong well built winch!!!!"

"This is not a bad winch at all. Great for an ATV. Use it to pull out the ATV or items blocking a trail. Easy to use, dependable. Warn is a good product."

Warn Winch 3700,
January 21, 2008
By Go2Guyfrom NH
"Overall an excellent product. This baby can pull.
I spent over $600 adding a second battery, battery isolator, and heavy duty wiring and connectors to my pickup to allow it to be connected to the trailer hitch (see Item# 147015). So in retrospect I feel I should have purchased the most powerful model.
If you are using a dual battery setup, I suggest you keep the engine running with the lights on.
My only complaint is that the cable always seems to get get kinked/untwisted because it doesn't always follow the race and spool nicely - even when you try and persuade it to.
Another quibble is the short length of the remote, as a previous reviewer mentioned. How about a wireless remote? That would be the ultimate."
