Great tool for the job.,

"Working on a stage production we needed a low profile winch that could lift 740 pound CO2 tanks from a lift to the floor. The Pullzall is perfect! It doesn't even strain as it dead lifts these large Dewars tanks. The variable speed control is easy to use and makes small maneuvers possible. It takes up very little head room although we ended up using the Warn pulley to change the lifting point to gain a few inches in our tight location. The entire crew marvel at it's size, speed and portability.
The negatives: When not under tension the wire rope can coil up over itself and get kinked under strain. We replaced a cable for this reason but it was easy to fix and inexpensive to do. We will keep a close eye on it in the future to prevent improper coiling. The Pulzall is a little loud, kind of like an electric hedge trimmer but who cares. Also when you release the switch it doesn't stop traveling immediately but it was easy to get used to. There are no stops on the cable travel either so care must be taken. These are all minor details really, in exchange for size and raw power."

Homemade Stair Climber,

"I am a retired mechanical engineer 89 years old and confined to a wheelchair. I need a way to negoiate the stairs for less than the $50K quoted for an elevator. I believe I can design a system powered by an electric hoist or winch, but the requirements are rather critical, and I have searched the internet without success. But having discovered the WARN Works PullzAll tool I believe that it satisfies the needs with respect to cost, size, weight, power requirements, load, lifting speed, and cable length. Now that I have this basis I can begin the design. Estimated total cost about $500. Incidentally, as soon as I start construction I will need a MIG welder."

Very nice but not perfect,

"This item does what it says. I install gas, wood & pellet, fireplaces, stoves & inserts. I use this to pull fireplaces up stairs on new const. job sites, (usually 6-8 stairs). I have rigged up a few items to help me with this process. With out the PullzAll I would have had to find help to get these fireplaces in the house. I work alone and this tool has saved me lots back breaking labor. It takes me a few minutes to set up, but when its all done I'm not worn out from getting the fireplace in the house and I'm ready to do my installs. The PullzAll is light weight, compact and user friendly. The only real draw back is that it continues to pull or release for 2-3 seconds after you release the trigger. This is fairly easy to compensate for, but it would be nice if it stopped immediately. Overall good tool, I would buy it again. Saves me money & makes my job easier, whats not to like?"

"a great product for the money, makes all sorts of jobs easier and faster. easy and safe to operate. Durable. Load a trailer or pick-up, slide heavy equipment to a new location in the shop. An I-beam, a beam trolley and this WARN winch and you are all set, no more pushing around the old cherry picker. A great tool for the farm or ranch."

Served my reason for purchase,

"I needed a winch to help pull a jetski off a drive-up on jetski dock. Due to the design of the jetski it would become locked on the rollers on the dock. I only needed to move it about two feet and the 110VAC PullzAll does the job. The design of the PullIzAll allowed me to attach it to the dock without removing it each time I used it. Due to its size, I was able to weatherwise it and unplug it each time I did not need to use it. I can remove it if I need to and use it for something else, like helping me move my main dock in and out as the water level changes. It also probably saved my back from being injured. I would have rated it 5 stars but I have only used it for one purpose."

Great tool,

"We have a cabin on the Mississippi river that flooded 3 times this year. We had our pontoon boat and trailer tied the 4 trees in front of our cabin during these floods. The water lifted our boat and trailer over 4 feet. Once the flood left, there was a SLICK mud over everything. We tried to pull our boat out with our Dodge Ram 2500 4x4. The wheels were just spinning due the slickness of the mud. We attached a cargo belt to a tree and use our recently purchased Pulzall and a lot of different postionings to free our trailer from the mud. Great product,, warning light goes off if you are exceeding limits of machine. It took several attempts, but it was the only thing that worked for us."

Pullzall not so tough,

"I had bought this tool for helping to pull wire or lift items. At times we pull wire with our tugger used for this purpose but due to mounting restrictions we would often find ourself needing a few more feet out of the pipe that our tugger could do due to its configuration. First job we used this on the cable came apart. In fairness we were probably putting one heck of a load on it but I do not think that the cable should have given out. Probably a great tool if you really only plan on using it for 1/2 of it's rating."

"This equipment is a very useful one. I have seen the reviews about this product. The type of load this baby can pull is enormous. Any one including me who want a small equipment that do not take many space, to pull heavy load, has to buy this machine. Peabo"

The Exact Tool For The Job!!!,
April 21, 2008
By DC195

"I had been looking for this exact winch (with connection hooks on both ends) for several months. I needed it to pull a dock at our lake house up a ramp as the water rose. They were either not available or cost several thousand dollars. I had just about given up, until I had a "Northern Tool" catalog show up. I wasn't sure this winch would be heavy duty enough, but it has been a champ. For a very reasonable cost, it has plenty of power & has saved me much manual labor."
