Hobart Handler 125,
July 10, 2007
By UtownBillfrom Pennsylvania
"I should have bought this welder years ago. I don't know how I ever got along without it. Versatile, convenient, easy to use and affordable are just a few of the words that describe this little workhorse. Use it indoors, outdoors, at home or on the road. Plug it into any standard wall outlet. So far, this welder has easily handled every job I've required of it, from delicate sheet metal to 3/8 inch steel. I would recommend this welder to anyone, beginner or professional. No home workshop would be complete without one."

Hobart Welders,
November 20, 2008
By RonaldF8355from Sterling Heights, MI
"Irecently retired from 44 years of service in the the sheet metal industry ( Heavy Industrial) where we used various makes and types of welders and I can say wiotout a doubt in my mind That HOBART welders and products are far and above the rest of the competition, they out perform them in every task and are super reliable even in the the most adverse conditions. I will alway's reccomend and own a hobart welder, they may cost a little more but they are still running long after the other are in the repair shop or scrap pile."

Great little welder,
November 19, 2008
By cardocfrom southeastern ct
"A very capable welder for small to medium jobs.Great to have around to hobbiest's shop or the pro garage for the quick work where a large machine would be impractable.I've even used it for minor frame repair, shock mounts, exhaust etc.Very nice to be able to go anywhere that has an outlet and to able to throw it in the back seat to go to and from work.It kinda surprised me at how capable it really is."

retired woodworker,
November 18, 2008
By lonie5from Glide, Oregon
"i am a retired cabinet maker and worked with wood all my life. I have always been interested in welding and working with metal, and at one time tried arc welding, something that i could not master. Recently I purchased a Hobert 125 Mig Welder, wow what a tool. i have welded practically every loose piece of metal that I can find around my house. This welder is really easy to operate, just turn on, make adjustment for the metal size and wire speed and go to work. It's that easy. I am constantly looking for a new welding project. This Hobert 125 will handle all my welding projects for years to come."

Good hobby welder,
November 18, 2008
By FordMan70from Arkansas
"The Hobart Handler 125 is a pretty good little welder. It has good heat and wire feed ranges, and a better duty cycle than some of the less expensive wire feeders.
The only disappointment I've had with it is the wire feeder has plastic gears and destroyed itself.....right after the warranty expired. The part was easy to find at a local welding shop and the machine is easy to service, so not a major issue."

Small portable wire feed welders,
November 18, 2008
By Denny71from Lesterville Missouri
"The Hobart Handler 125 wire feed machine works exceptionally well for putting tub wheel wells( to accomodate large tires) in all my many different race cars. The versatility of this machine has been unsurpased for reliability and ease of operation. Whether used for race cars or on the farm i believe the consumer would be pleasantly surprised by the cost to versatilty equation. Definately recommedable."

Hobart 125,
November 18, 2008
By pinneywoodsfrom Orlando.FL
"I was very happy with this product, it took some getting use to but once you have had som practice it works good. No need for gas with flux wire it splatters a little more than gas, but you will still can make a good weld. The heat and wire adjustments are crucial to adjust the weld to size of metal. When buying a welder also cosider how easy you can get parts for it."

hobart handler 125,
November 18, 2008
By jmillsfrom Northeastern Arizona, elevation about 6800 feet
"Great welder, handles about all of my projects. Great for the house, standard wall plug. Do recommend that you get the 10 lbs. flux-core wire. Well worth the money, and the least amount of hassel. Less spatter that the gas & wire, works good out side. Will weld in moderate winds, where gas will not. Dose great on steet metal duct work and 1/4 inch steel plate (recommend a few passes).Great for wrot iron and onimental welding too."
