IronMan 210,
October 27, 2008
By cams1021from Cape Cod, MA
"I was shopping around for a 230 volt mig welder capable of welding up to 3/8" thick steel, that also had an available spool gun for aluminum. I compared the Lincoln PowerMig 215XT, MillerMatic 212, and ESAB MigMaster 203. I chose the IronMan 210 because it offered the best features for the price, and the best value overall. The ESAB has a comparable price and features, but Hobart welder parts are available through any Miller dealer. I couldn't be happier with the welder, it is a solid, well built piece that does what it is supposed to do every time. I use it to fabricate various parts for vehicle restorations, parts for my Jeep, and I plan on building some wrought iron pieces. I would recommend this welder to anyone who is shopping for one in this price range as I feel it is the best one for the money. Combine that with Northern's awesome customer service and you can't do better!"

GREAT GENERAL PURPOSE WELDER,
May 29, 2008
By CAPTNJOEfrom Lancaster N.H.
"I have been welding for more than 30 years now and bought the Ironman 210 for my own use.I use it for anything from making repairs on my old case 430ck farm tractor to all types of other fabricating work and have found it to be a really great little machine. I've used several welders in this size range and really believe that the Ironman 210 has them all beat hands down. I would highly recommend it to anyone that has some all around welding work to do!!!!!!!"

Great welder,
April 24, 2007
By Schwantzfrom Southern Maryland
"This is a great welder. I am a mechanic by trade but purchased this machine for home use. It is easy to use and very versatile. I would reccommend this welder to anyone from a do-it-yourselfer to a pro. The only negative I could find is it is difficult to install the diverter valve for using a spool gun because of the cramped quarters. This is a one time installation only if you buy the optional spool gun for aluminum. Overall, a great buy."
