"I bought this welder in early 2008. The first one arrived busted up from shipping. I called and akded for the parts needed to fix it. Northern sent a new unit and asked me to sent the one I had back. The new unit had a broken bezel on the gas guage. I asked for a replacement bezel or failing that, a new guage. Northern could not provide either, so they sent a whole new regulator assembly. Both of these "fixes" happened very rapidly. I was amazed at the wonderful customer service. I will definitely buy more Northern Tools items, and with confidence. The welder works very well. I have done three small jobs with it so far, with 1/8th " material or thinner, no gas. I could not be happier. I am looking forward to a job that requires me to go rent the gas tanks."

"Great price, Easy to set up, and I was able to run a nice bead the same evening. I only have one problem with this welder... I have run out of things to weld. I have been stick welding for 3 years and decided to try my hand at Mig welding. This welder makes it easy. Wish I had one a long time ago. You can't go wrong with this welder."

"This welder is great! No binding problems like i have had on other welders. I am still trying to get use to the settings! Product instructions help alot and are easy to understand if you do not know much about welders. I have mostly used this welder for light duty projects and have not had any problems. This welder is comparable to the name brand welders!"

"I bought this welder to replace an ageing 110v mig and I was impressed with how well it worked on different metal thickness,and how easy it was to dial it in on thin metal as well as the thicker metal , they could use a better ground clamp ,but at this price it hard to complain. it does the job and it does it well"
