Exceptional Welder,
November 20, 2008
By Stewart
from Taylorsville, NC
|
"I purchased this welder for small repairs as I have a larger welder for heavier work. Welder does more than I expected since I have gas hooked to it--it performs at an unmatched level. I like the fact that it will hold a 10 lb spool of wire unlike alot of cheaper brands. Economically priced. Would recommend it to anyone."

"Very good welder for the money, I use it in my shop for working on my cars and some small projects.I have the gas hooked up to it and it welds nice. The only problem I had with it I had to take the shell off to fix the cord in the back it came loose."

MIG welder,
November 18, 2008
By loopy
from Ohio

"I purchased this welder because I was tired of waiting for the local welding shop to get to my projects. The learning curve was shorter than I thought. After just a few internet welding videos, and a couple practice welds, I was ready to go. This welder performs as described. I get great welds without gas. The cables are durable, and the spools are easy to change. The only improvement I can think of would be locking casters, since the welder gets heavy after carrying it a short distance. Overall a great value, and I can knock out welding jobs as soon as they arise. There is a special place in Heaven for those who fabricate!"

By leach

"Bought welder with intentions of welding floor pans. six months later and frame patches, atv frame repairs, sheet metal repairs and welding nuts to sheared off bolts to get you out of a jam repairs - I say thats more than worth it. Very user friendly. Great buy for the money. Definitely has paid for itself already. Did have a minor break down with welder. No worries. Customer service was great. No hassles, no questions asked. Shipped out and had new one back 8 days."

"Bought this unit recently to get me by until I could afford an upgrade. This is a very nice unit for the money, reconsidering the upgrade now. Functions very well with fairly quick set-up. Just learning to mig with help from a professional welder friend. He was quite surprised by the quality and features of this "budget" welder."

NI MIG 135,
November 17, 2008
By Robert6
from Jefferson, Tx
|
"As someone who is really lacking at stick welding, I was pleasantly surprized at the ease that this machine welds. Right out of the box, within an hour, I was welding 3/16 steel. The only low point of the MIG 135 is the instructions that came with the machine. Otherwise I would recogmend it to anyone looking for a well built, easy to use welder."

ALUMINUM WELDERS READ THIS!!!!!!!,
November 17, 2008
By flyfisherman
from Utah
|
"This is really a great product for the money. If your going to use this welder on aluminum use .035 wire and buy a liner just for running aluminum wire. The liner will need to be cut to fit. Cut a short piece of the excess liner and grind a V shape to one end. Now remove the clamp holding the cheap piece of plastic tubing used to guide the wire from the feeder to the new liner/lead where it connects to the welder. Cut this little piece of the liner to fit tight with the V end positioned between the feed wheels as close to where the wire comes out as possible. If the liner outside diameter is smaller than the OD of the piece of plastic it is replacing then shim it to the same dimension so it lines up with the slot in the wire feeder where the wire comes out! Now happy welding!"
