Great Hood,

"This has been my favorite hood yet! It is light weight and easy to use, as well as noticeably more comfortable then other hood's I have tried on. I would defiantly recommend this helmet to a friend in fact some of my friends tried to buy it from me on the spot. After spending 6 hours behind the mask you start to appreciate the small things like is harness and light weight.
Things I would like to see for next model; Shade adjustment on the out side of the helmet, as well as it having an option to change the amount of time it take for the power saver mode to shut down the hood. BE WARE OF THE HELMET TURNING OFF IF YOU SET IT DOWN AND WALK AWAY. WHEN YOU COME BACK MAKE SURE ITS ON. MAKE IT A HABIT TO HIT THE POWER BUTTON EVERY TIME YOU PUT IT ON!"

Excellent for SMAW - stick welding,

"I really like this hood. The auto darkening is great. Make sure you don't leave it in the dark for weeks on end. If you do, it usually only takes 10 mins in the sunlight to charge it back up.
I really like the 9 - 13 adjustment. I use 9 indoors where the ambient lighting is low. And I use 13 outside in the sunlight. This hood provides better protection from sparks than other models I have used. I have found the polycarbonate lens to be very durable. I just clean my hood after each use with a soft cloth and water.
If you are a full-time welder, I would recommend you getting a hood with a standard-sized lens instead. This hood uses non-standard sized lenses, so are not cheap."
