"I've had 3 welding masks before this one. 2 of them were auto darkening, but only this one is actually comfortable. The other 2 allowed you to adjust the sensitivity and the darkness level, but there really wasn't much of a difference when you adjusted them. On this mask, the controls really do work and you can adjust the darkness and sensitivity to suite your work.
