"What can I say. This is one of the lightest, quickest, and comfortable welding hoods I have used. Everyone comments on the cool artistic decals too! If I had my choice to add one feature to this great welding mask, it would be to add some magnifiers for close welding work."

"I chose this helmet over the lower priced one because the AD feature was more adjustable, both for sensitivity and degree of darkening. I made the right choice and am very happy with this helmet. It works for the finest mig work on thin sheet metal and also for heavy arc welding on thick material. The large viewing area is a plus also. You can spend more money, but I doubt you'd get a helmet that works much better than this one."

"I'm just a casual welder - small 110V wire feed & occasional buzz box. Was originally going to just get one of the low end automatic helmets, but decided to go a little bit more for the larger viewing area. I think it was worth it, as many of the more expensive units still use the small window. Seems well made, and should do what I need quite well."

"This is only the second welding mask I have bought and used since starting to weld. I wish I had found it sooner. The mask fits and adjusts over a wide range with controls easily worked while wearing gloves. The included instructions on the auto darkening faceplate were very easy to understand. As others have noted, the large viewing area is very nice - if you are still using a conventional sized viewing pane this will be a very pleasant surprise. The only complaint I have is the mask came with a sale catalog in the box that had this mask on sale for $10 less than I paid for it."

"I purchased this hood because of the large filter, this is a fantastic hood . I do fit up in a fabrication shop which involves a lot of tack welds. the filter view area is large so you can weld and check fit and never flip the hood up. I'd say they got it right with this hood"

"After trying many different AD helmets, I have found this one to work the best. I have a big hat size and this one fits me well. The Auto-darkening works great and the large size viewing window really makes it easy to see through."

"Overall a very good helmet for the money - larger than standard view screen makes for easy location of work - a big help in low light situations. Have used the heck out of it since shipper dropped it off - Would recommed this unit for the hobbiest or a p-t welder. Easy fitting - sits nicely on the head -"
