Magnet with a switch,
November 17, 2008
By EricSoCalfrom Los Angeles
"I love the new switchable magnets. I've got clamps and featherboards that use them, so when I saw the switchable magnet square, I expected a great tool. This magnet meets all my expectations. It is easy to set and adjust, and an unexpected feature is that it is easier to clean all the random metal dust that collects on this type of magnet, switch it off and it wipes pretty clean."

"Probably one of the best inventions for people who weld plate. have had no problem with these other than occasionally they fill up with metal filings but a wire brush can sweep them away quickly. They can hold an impressive amount of weight."

"When you need a helping hand in keeping parts squared up so you can get them tacked together before finish welding them out these tools are invaluable. I've used them numerous times and couldn't imagine doing any kind of fabrication work without at least a pair of these at the ready before getting started. They are a great addition to any fabricators repetoire of tools!"
