"I talked my managers into buying this welder as ours was stationary and we needed to have a mobile one to move around the plant. I was very impressed at the quality and ease of use of this unit. It's power easily ran any power tools I plugged into it and with the electric start I didn't have to pull on any cords to start it up. I have since retired and had to get one for myself to add to my at home shop. Absolutely no regrets on this welder/generator."

"This is one of the most useful tool on the farm. Its portability makes it a lifesaver for breakdowns in the field. The wide range of settings makes it the most versitile welder we have ever owned not to mention the generator funtion that enables you to run drills, grinders etc at a remote jobsite. Five stars all the way"

Excellent welder,

"I purchased this welder from Northern Tool about 2003. I have used it extensively on fence and ranch jobs since with outstanding results. From thin wall .087 thickness up to 1 inch plate it has worked perfect. I have ran a compressor and plasma cutter off of it as well with great results. Hobart has really put out a great product here just to stand up to use in the high desert temperatures of the southwest where i live. I would recomend this to anybody."

Hobart champion welder,

"I had used a Hobart welder in my work and now that i am retired i needed a good machine for tinkering around home with my projects. This machine does every thing that i need. I am in an area that has power outages at times and the 10,000 watt generator will be a real life saver. I do wish they would manufacture it with cable reels attached to the unit."

HOBART WELDER/GENERATOR,
February 15, 2007
By GunnerGfrom Madison, GA
"Highly recomend this item for pro's or home owners, I have 20 hours on it already, of course no problems so far. Built a trailer for mobility and installed all of our related gear on it, so we're mobile. No comparison to the old 'cracker box' welder. Best thing about it...10,000 watts of portable power, a 10K generator would cost about as much. A really 'sweet' welding machine. Love the easy oil change set up that it has, attatch the supplied hose and open the valve, that's it, don't even need a wrench."
