"I upgraded to this unit from the Hobart 250ci. I have about 10 hrs on it and It turned out to be a good move. When choosing this unit I looked at the comparable Lincoln and Miller equip. and found this was the best unit for me. I know Miller and Hobart are off the same assembly line but this unit is priced almost $400 under the Miller. The capacity is there, the build quality is what die-hard Hobart guys love, and the price was easy to take. When I set it up I had a few questions and the Hobart people were right there to help. It cuts great in 1/2 mild steel. I haven't used it on the other metals so I cant say how it does with them. Unless you are running a busy fabricatng operation, my advice is skip the cheapies and the high end guys and go with this unit you won't be disappointed."

"I use this in my shop every day. It holds up to the use as well as Plasma's twice the cost. I would be happier if local stores inventoried the consumables."

"I realy enjoy using this product, it makes short work or making pieces for various repairs to plows and other constuction equipment. It was ready to runn right out of the box, and with a well set up amnual it was easy to get to work. The control panel is simple and easy to operate. Care needs to be taken to make sure the ground lead is connected to a bare surface of the work piece."
