"I would recommend this pump to any one that wants a hard working pump to get the job done right! I have had my Gorman Rupp Water Pump since 1991 and it is still valuable today as it was in 1991. I purchase this pump to irrigate areas of my property and use it for my live stock. I usually plant food plot for my animals and then use my pump to irrigate the seeds that I have planted. All I have to do is sit it next to my one acre stock tank and irrigate away. I also have it handy in case I need it for fire fighting purposes, since I am away from any local fire departments. It has come in handy during times of drought. I have approx 500 ft of 2" hose with a brass nozzle .The only maintenance I have done is remove and replace the oil and plugs once a year. It's still working today for many of the challenges it requires living on the Ranch. I have no regrets on the purchase of my Gorman Rupp Water Pump.
