"I use this pump to irrigate small pastures with water from a stream. When I spec'd out the pump with the supplier he claimed I would be able to use 6 sprinkler heads with this pump. I tried more heads and found it would actually accomodated 12 heads with little loss of circular spread rate (50) ft diameter. I am lifting the water 12 feet with a rise of almost 60 feet of head through as much as 600 feet of 40mm (1.5") of plastic supply pipe. I'm well pleased an will purchase another one for my other ranch. One thing though. Do not forget to turn off the fuel valve when not running the pump. I didn't and filled the cylinder with fuel. Removed the plug and purged the cylinder, changed oil and started it up again. Runs fine even after that."

"Wow, did it ever put out the water. Used it for salt water. Attached a 50' fire hose with a "suicide" nozzle (a brass nozzle that is about 15" long and takes the 2" fire hose down to about the size of a dime). Shoots water out about 75' with TONS of water. I used it to blast sand from beneath 9" dock poles in the Bahamas after the last hurricane lifted all 20 dock poles about 2' up from their original borrowings in the sand. Just make sure you clean out the pump with fresh water and remove the bottom plug to drain the water so that it doesn't corrode. Mine did, but easy to remove outer housing and take out the corrosion. So much water pressure, it does take some effort to control hose when pressure kicks in. It sucked up water from unit on top of deck which was about 10' above water level. Takes about 2 minutes to initially prime, but after primed (and water flows out the output hose), shutting off engine keeps prime for a good while (30 minutes), so restart is almost instantaneous. Engine has plenty of power to pump out the water."
