North Star 2" Trash pump,
November 20, 2008

"At one of my Facilities I have a water retention area that does not drain completely. It is about 1/3 acre and has about 4" of water that never dries up. Consequently the standing water kills the grass and breeds mosquitoes. I purchased this pump to solve this problem. I also got the handle and wheel accessory kit for it, which makes it handy and very portable. This pump empties the area in about 20 minutes, saving alot of time and effort. This pump has solved a major maintenance problem for me."

NorthStar Semi-Trash Pump 2",

"I purchased this pump for the need to have an emergency water removal system on sight. Most winters here in Western Washington include tons of rain. We get a lot of run off from properties to the east of us causing flooding in the crawl space of our facility. We've had to rent a pump several times to save our building and finally purchased one for our own. We've never been sorry since. It performs flawlessly, starts on demand and has already paid for itself. Great pump, great size - love it!"

Research done prior to purchase.,

"Before I purchased the NorthStar pump I did a great deal of research. After checking various sources I decided on this workhorse. I live in Northwest Ontario and in the spring (after the snow and ice melt) and early summer there is a need to quickly and efficiently remove water run-off and areas where low spots exist and get it back into our lake.
The set-up was easy and the pump started easily on the second pull. I also purchased a 50' discharge hose as well a 20' in-take hose as well. I'm now ready and anxious for the spring thaw to arrive!!"

Does the job!!,

"I use it for collecting waste vegetable oil. Empties a barrel in about 30 secs. Takes about 30 secs to prime, then it's off to the races. Use a hard hose for the output though. If the soft one gets loose, it's bath time! Have to wait and see how it holds up. The Honda engine should last forever."

Best pump for the money,
August 23, 2008

"I bought this pump to empty one of the ponds on my land and it did the job well. After using the pump a few times I decided to add a fire nozzel to the pump and use it for controling the fire when we had burn pile on the property. We always burn close to a pond so we put one end in the pond and started the pump, wet the area and then light the fire, any time it starts getting out of control we would then restart the pump and get the fire back under control. Works like a champ and best of all not more calling the Fire Department!!!!!"

"I purchased this pump to spray my salt piles with a liquid de-icer. Before I could put it to use for it's intended purpose, we experienced torrential rains that flooded my basement. The pump fired up on the first pull and emptied my basement in record time. I am very pleased with this pump and recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable, reliable, powerful pump."

water pumps that work,
August 18, 2008

"we use this pump on the ranch for both irrigation and water drainage. in the wet months we use it to move water from saoked paature tro resiovor area. in the dry time of year we use it to talke from ther resiovor and supply the dry area so our livestock has flush grass all year long. this pump sits outisde in the elments covered only by a plastic box. after 3 years of service it still starts with 1 pull and pushes and pulls as if it was just unpacked. what more could you want in a pump. we here at the circle -s-ranch swear by this product."
