"I use this pump for irrigating a 30 tree orchard. The small works well on fuel consumption and portability. It is easy to work with and economical. It's use with regular garden hose attachments is a plus also."

NorthStar Water Pump,
August 11, 2008

"Love the size and power of this pump. Very lightweight and easy to use. We use it to water our shrubs and garden from water barrels. Easy to start and fairly quiet. We use the 1" pipe in and a garden hose out. It pumps through 100' of garden hose to a sprinkler head with no problem. Wish I had bought it last year."

NorthStar Water Pump,

"This is a well made pump and it looks like the motor is a good quality weed eater or chain saw motor. I was surprised at the quality of the pump. It should last a few years in normal use. I am using it to pump water from a storage tank on my 9 cubic foot cement mixer for good water supply in remote locations."

Great Little Pump !,
May 28, 2008

"This pump is a great value. Very light weight. Easy to start. - Controls are well marked and easy to understand. Very gasoline efficient ! Pumps a lot of water, over a long distance, with a good amount of pressure. Very easy to prime and drain. I suggest you get a Brass Foot Valve to go with the pump ( Item# 10823 ) , so you will not have to re-prime the pump if you turn it off and restart it more than once a day. The only thing I could wish for, is that the adaptor the lets you connect a garden hose to the outlet on the pump, was made of metal instead of plastic. But, it's a $1.50 fix at any hardware store, so it's no big deal. I really like this pump."
