"Simple and low cost. But HUGE convenience when securing those vehicles with those slot style hook..err..slots.
My only quibble is that it would be nice if it were coupled with an 'extra-link' to attach it to a chain."

Towing T-Hook,

"The Northern Tool T-hook offering is excellent. Heavy-duty and fits nicely in the T-holes of my new Corvette.
With specialty cars such as a Corvette, proper towing and securing is critical, otherwise major damage can result. You cannot just hook chains to the control arms or random suspension members etc. MUST be T-hooks in the proper T-holes.
I carry four spare T-hooks around in my Corvette tool kit just in case the car ever needed to be flat-bedded and the local flat bed service does not have the proper T-hooks on hand. Because I'd never allow the car to be pulled without proper T-hooks.
Many other cars these days utilize the T-hook system as well... this is not just for Corvettes. If you have a nice new car, chances are it will require T-hooks for pulling and securing to a flat bed. Do yourself a favor and buy a set, keep `em in your in-car tool kit.
