Great product, July 13, 2009
By stenodude from Holtsville, NY

"Great product. Works as advertised. Just be careful when backing up, the thing is so accurate that I was already where I had to be with the hookup, not even knowing it, and gave it too much gas and bent the guide plate backwards a little. Not a big deal, just got a crowbar and bent it back."

Couple Mate , it's O.K., May 18, 2008
By cajunman83 from Southern, La.

"I will have to say that this product is ok . All depending on your set up . My flaws about this product is that , I did had to some what jack knife my boat trailer just a little , the base to the couple mate bent my receiver and didn't allow me to hook my boat trailer back up to my hitch, so I had to replace the receiver with another . Witch that really shouldn't have happened . And what was even worse , for the main purpose of me getting this couple mate, my receiver for my utility trailer would not fit over my hitch ball with the base of the couple mate on . So you tell me , what good did it do !!!!!"

Trailering made easy, April 14, 2008
By kbear291 from Long Beach, MS

"Once I got the height of my trailer ball, and adjusted my trailer hitch to be just above the ball everything just fell right into place. It sure beat having to get in and out of the truck two or three times to check height and distance. Now I don't have to worry about denting my tailgate and bumper anymore. I use a spot just above my knee to to measure and adjust my hitch and it works every time."

Why didn't I think of this, January 14, 2008
By bobhof from St. Louis, MO

"I have trailered a lot of things over the years. Almost every vehicle i have owned at sometime got the dreaded nick around the hitch area. This item will prevent that and is very easy to install and use. The quality of the parts is excellent and will hold up for years. I showed it to a friend and he bought one right away."

Bumper saver, May 23, 2007
By PtownBubba from Illinois

"This looks like the answer for one person-trailer-hooking-up-to.
Will at least save all the lil' nicks and dents in your bumper, or even a license plate light. It should get you close enough, so all you need to do is lower the trailer on the ball."

trailer helper, November 19, 2006
By metalworker from Pullman, WA

"This is the best way to align your trailer to the ball. Made out of heavy metal that stands up to most abuse. The top angled piece detaches once the trailer is hitched so as to not bend anything. Helps in the last couple inches that are hard to align."
