Pintle upper jaw closes onto the top of the 2in. ball (center position) to allow for towing trailers with lunette eye rather than coupler. 2in., 1 7/8in. and 2 5/16in. balls can be used for standard coupler towing — upper jaw locks into up or open position.

"This product is perfect for my business I pull trailers that have all the hitches that this product offers and it takes the abuse I put it through. I pull a chipper shredder that has a pintle hitch, 20' trailer that is 2" ball, 6x10 trailer that is 17/8" ball, and a friends trailer that is 25/16 ball. I liked this hitch so much I bought 2 one for each truck."
