"Solid product but one I found I could not use.......because of the "drop" in this unit and the type of vehicle you use it on, there may be too little clearance from the hitch/trailer to the ground. I mounted this on a car and the trailer had a rest under the tongue that together allowed very little clearance. There are other choices that have straight ball mounts with built in bike racks above (that is what I wanted to use this for.......bike rack and ball hitch to tow a small boat. This unit would work fine on a SUV vehicle but possibly not a std auto ! Hope this helps.........."
