Cart Tire,

"I used two of these tire/wheels on my Whizbang Garden Cart that I built in Nov. 2008. The tires and wheels are very sturdy and I have no worries about overloading them. I give the cart wheels a high recommendation."

26" WHEELS - 300 lb,
November 2, 2009
By Sherwood

"The tires are not seated into the rims so don't apply air pressure as soon as you take them out of the box. It takes quite a bit of messing around getting the beads to seat before they blow up to pressure and you can use them. Spokes are crimped into the rims with no nuts to straighten the wheels later, so if you bump something reasonably hard, plan on replacing the wheel. I am tired of repairing imported stuff that is new. Waste of resources. Good value if you don't get "medium duty" on them."

26 inch spoked pneumatic wheel,
November 2, 2009
By Rob2009

"I recently purchased two of your 26 inch spoked wheels and was skeptical about how durable they would be for my application. I was impressed when I got them out of the box. The spokes are larger in diameter than bicycle wheels and clearly can carry the weight they are rated for. The 3/4 inch axle hub works perfectly with 3/4 inch steel rod as an axle. I bought them for a garden cart and they work great. I would have preferred solid tires instead of pneumatic, but they weren't offered in this size."

"This is a heavy duty unit. I used two for a homemade garden cart. They have not given me any trouble and I would highly recommend them to anyone."

wheels that work,

"I built a rickshaw that we needed for a show our community theater was doing. I purchased some cheap wooden wheels from a local farm store. I decided to give my wife a test ride to make sure there wouldn't be any problems. That turned out to be a "back to the drawing board" moment. After picking her off the ground and promising to take her out for dinner , I ordered the Northern Wheels. They worked great and now that the show is over, I am going to modify the rickshaw so that I can pull it with a 4 wheeler. I think the wheels will be tough enough to take the abuse. Getting my wife back in the rickshaw however, may turn out to ba a problem."

Strong, light wheel with good hub,
August 18, 2008

"I used these wheels on a homemade two-person recumbent bicycle....where they take a lot of stress and go faster with a heavier load than they were designed for...and they are holding fine after many miles. If they were used for intended purpose (garden cart) I would expect them to last a decade at least."

"I used these wheels on a garden cart I built. The installation was a cinch, and they easily carry any load I have wanted to put on the cart. They were the largest investment I put into the cart, and well worth it. The cart rolls like a dream over any landscape it encounters."

Terrific tires!,

"These tires/wheels are really well made. Very solid. I use these wheels on a camera Steadicam rickshaw for the motion picture industry. Hundreds of thousands of dollars are at stake each day on a movie set and I need wheels that are reliable. I've had these tires for a few years now and they haven't failed yet!!! I'm very happy with them. I plan on building more rickshaws so these are definitely the tires I'll be using again and again!!"
