Slick idea, not good for Fisher,

"I bought this for a Fisher snow plow. The idea of the Snowplow Shield is really good, it does prevent the snow from sticking to the plow, but nearly impossible to install for my application. I'm sure it works for Western, Myers, Diamond and others. The problem is that there is now way to attach the bottom of the snowplow shield to the plow because of the "trip edge" design. A call to the manufacturer was pretty useless, they were no help at all. I ended up buying a strip of steel about 2" wide, had to drill holes through the shield and the plow blade, and bolt it through about every 10". Snow and grit still are able to work it's way behind the shield, so I have to take it all off and clean behind it, then reattach it all the the plow blade. The supplied adhesive caulk works fair, but fails pretty quickly after use. I'll likely buy another one, and buy a slightly wider strip of steel to hold the bottom of the Snowplow Shield to the plow blade. I had a problem with the side edge ripping off , especially when backdragging snow, so I put a steel strip on the problem edge. My Plow blade is going to look like swiss cheese with all these holes."

"i got this shield and it was easy to install. when i plow the snow flys off the blade and no snow stays on the blade when done like the old steel blade did, it makes the truck work less hard. this shield was worth every penny"
