"This thing is EASY to put together - I assembled mine with scrap, it looks really good, AND is super strong... I put a piece of MDF over the plywood to make for a 'worktop' that was smooth and could be replaced... HIGHLY recommended! I'm actually thinking of getting another!"

Workbench Kit, Model #14090,

"This bench was very simple to put together, it took me about 45 minutes. Once you have the 2X4's cut and the table top and shelves cut everything fits together with screws. I didn't run into any issues or problems putting this kit together. Since you can make it any size you want, depending on the lengths you cut the 2X4's, it can be made to fit snuggly into any space you have.
The bench is extremely sturdy, not lacking in strength to support most any project. I would recommend this kit for anyone who is looking to build a workbench. It is easy and very economical."

"Great kit if you want to be up and running with a bench fast and inexpensive. The load capacity is great, as well as the fact that you can custom make any size. It would be nice if the lower and middle shelf position was somehow adjustable for height."

Makes A Sturdy Workbench,

"I've built two of these benches for the shop. They are easy to put together, using 2x4s and your choice of wood for the deck.
I made mine with three surfaces using 3/4" MDF. First cut the 2x4s to determine the deck size, measure it, and then have your local lumber yard cut the MDF for you (far easier).
I didn't use their included shelf pieces for the bench, but used them for other projects instead (a bookcase).
An easy way to get a nice workbench using standard lumber and no miter cuts."

Customize to YOUR needs,

"Great workbench kit.
I needed a customizable workbench that took advantage of the limited space in my garage, this kit made things so much easier.I constructed out of 2x4's, a 4x4 and 2 sheets of 4x8x3/4" plywood. During construction, which is only as complicated as you wanna make it, I chose to add 3 high-efficiency LED light bars for the lower shelves and stiffened up the bench for heavy items (cylinder heads, etc.). I used the LED lights because they use less than 1Watt for a 12" strip of LEDs, so I can leave them on all the time if I want. The 4x4x8' was used for the front cross-member, as I didn't want the bench to sag if I leave a heavy item in the middle for a week or two. There is also a vise mounted at one end and adding braces and legs under the center/top of the bench makes it nearly indestructable!
I added a couple of upright center posts to prevent sag and allow me to comfortably walk on the bench if needed. A couple of outlet strips were mounted under the front overhang to give 12 electrical outlets where you need them most.
Overall, excellent bench kit, lets you customize it to what you want, rather than what someone else thinks you need.
I'll post up a photo or two when I get everything screwed together. Extremely versatile and sturdy bench"
