shop stool, adjustable heighth,

"I received the stool (unassembled) in good condition and took the time to read the assembly instructions. As with all instructions, some "intetpertation" was required. Actual assembly was simple and took only about 15 minutes or so. The product is sturdy and is fairly comfortable even for bench sessions of about an hour. Due to the height of my workbench, I have to have the height adjustment all the way down. This is actually good since all the other stools I looked at were too high and could not be adjusted."

Basic simple shop stool,
November 18, 2008

"Let me start off and say this is one of the best deals on the market for a shop stool. I researched on and off for a couple of weeks on shop stools and this one had everything I was looking for. What really sold me on it was the previous reviews by guy's like me- kinda Big! I need one that is built to support my size and weight. This one so far has done that. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was the instructions and hardware. I know it's not rocket science to put a chair together but a little more detail would clarify a few things. Also, the hardware was kind of sparse. I believe it need washers where it mounts under the seat. But, that's my opinion. A good buy for anyone though!"

"This stool looked good, easy to assemble. It lasted about 6 months. The warranty is 1 year. You have to go direct to manufacturer. The pneumatic piston gave out. The manufacturer wanted me to send them JUST the defective part ( which is attached to the stool by a taper fit ) I could not get it apart so I could not get a replacement. In addition the adjustable feet broke quite easily. Presently it it too good to trash but not good enough to use."

"I have been using my stool for 2 months now and am very satisfied. I spend a lot of time with my reloading equipment and the backrest is a savior on my back. Easy to put together. The low position was to high so I raised my work table. Great stool!"

Northern Industrial Pneumatic Stool with Backrest,
August 11, 2008
By Kristina

"I bought this for my husband for Father's Day, and he absolutely loves it. He is 6'4 and about 230lbs. and it is the perfect height for him. He uses it out in his shed for projects or cleaning his guns. He had to make his work bench very tall for his height and the stool works great. We looked everywhere for tall stools & none compared to the price and quality of Northern Tool's Stool. We are very pleased & it came in a few days."

Pneumatic Stool,
April 18, 2008
By skezzcrom

"Wow, a great stool and that is high enough to reach the tallest sales desk, yet can be lowered to help those of us with "short" legs. My daughter-in-law loves sitting in this chair (8.5 months pregnant), says it gives great back support. Padded seat is very comfortable for those of us with "expanding" girth. Could not find another chair of this quality for the price I paid."

The stool is comfortable and user friendly easy to put together as well. Just another great product from Northern Tool."
