Magnetic Tool Holders,
August 18, 2008
By vrpv

"the holding power of these items left a bit to be desired. the magnet is slightly recessed within the metal bracket so the tool doesn't actually touch the magnet and tools actually tend to spin and release too easily. i guess this protects the magnet, which also has a sticker covering it probably for the same reason . other designs i've seen allow the tool to actually be in contact with the magnet and i would guess that they hold better. that aside, the price of this item makes it a better value than the others"

Simple solutions are the best,
January 24, 2008

"I have purchased many tool organizers in the past, mainly plastic organizers that attach to pegboard, and found them all to be lacking in one way or the other. For instance, one wrench holder looked really smart in the store, but at home I found that every time I reached for a wrench, two or three other wrenches would fall from the holder. This is simple. Attach the strip anywhere with two screws, and hang your metal tools from it. They are in full view, so in the case of wrenches, you can see the size easily, and it is very neat. The magnet holds tight enough for most tools to stay in place, but releases them with ease. I can get the right tool the first time and not cause a tool avalanche in the process."

Finally! Hand tools organized AND easy access!,
January 16, 2008
By Anonymous Reviewer

"I have tried every accessory on the market to organize sets of hand tools in the workshop, and have been disappointed with them all -- until now. The magnetic strips are great! Magnets are strong, so tools stay put; the three sizes handle a variety of tools; and reasonable pricing means they can be used freely: Screwdrivers hang securely in plain sight and can easily be removed and replaced when needed. Magnets are perfect for storing sets of combination wrenches too. No more peg board hooks to fall off when a wrench is removed. -- And magnets work just as well with open-end wrenches. Magnetic strips in the socket drawer hold socket wrenches in ascending order, conveniently separating metrics from SAE. Individual sockets can easily be removed for use -- far more easily the old-style strips with friction clips that we once used. "A place for everything, and everything in its place." Is a lot closer to realization with these great magnetic tool holders."

Handy tools anywhere,
January 14, 2008
By JerryK

"I recently moved to a new house and after all the family's furniture and belongings are unpacked I get to set up my workshop. I believe I'll be in this home for at least twenty years so I want to set things up right for the future. I also have the advantage of having done this before and learning by my mistakes. Years ago I discovered magnetic strip tool holders. In my old shop I had a few around mostly in the floor joists above my basement. What a convenient, easy to see, place to store magnetic tools. In setting up this shop, I searched the internet and found that Northern Tool and Equipment had sets of these handy tool organizers for resonable prices. I purchased many sets and hung them around the shop, as I mentioned earlier, they allow storage in many spots in plain sight. Having purchased spares, I soon found other convenient places to put the magnetic tool strips that I had not thought of before. I used them in my basement, my garage, on the side molding of my garage door amd even attached one to the back of my riding mower to hold gardening tools in place. Now my wife wants me to buy more strips for her. Great product, great price. unlimited potential."

"I purchased this set through you because I couldn't find this style in my local hardware stores. I had one that a friend had given me, managed to filled it up and needed another because I found it to be so handy. Originally I thought I needed just one but found that I was able to fill all three in no time! They are excellent quality and they make my life so much easier and more organized!"

"These magnetic strips are surprisingly strong and versitile. I have used one to pick up a plier droped in between cabinets before I mounted them. I have found them really useful for keys and magnetic mesage holders which has made my kitchen more organized looking with less on the fridge. I'm tempted to try one for knives."
