"These O-rings will fit most of the fittings used for automotive A/C systems. The O-rings are stable to petroleum based compressor oil (used for the older R-12 auto A/C systems), as well as ester-based lubricant used for the newer A/C units that use R-134a refrigerant.
Trucks and buses are typically equipped with refrigeration systems that use the same refrigerant R-22 that home refrigerators and home A/C units use. These O-rings will fit some the fittings on these refrigeration units too - and they are stable to the ether-based oils used in the compressors.
I bought the kit to rebuild a couple of R-134a automotive A/C compressors. There are a lot of O-rings inside the compressor and it is a lot cheaper to buy this kit than the rebuild kit from the manufacturer."
