Get the look of an authentic, expensive alarm system without the cost! Stainless steel pad features flashing red and green LEDs simulating an activated alarm. Plus, keypad actually beeps when pressed! Looks and sounds so real, intruders will think twice before entering your home or office. No wires, but comes with mounting hardware and Warning! decal. Requires 4 AAA batteries (not included).
Realistic Keypad,

"I have bought several of these to use at a vacation property that is unoccupied most of the time.
I read the reviews before I purchased mine and the one that stuck in my mind was about the stainless finish... that maybe it could have been in black. I concur and that is the reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars.
Another minor point is that the keypad cover is held on with phillips screws, meaning anybody can unscrew it and see it isn't connected to anything. I solved this problem by using longer bolts with wingnuts on the back... (Basically I bolted this unit through a wall.) To keep it tamper resistant, I drilled out the phillips head part of my bolts, leaving just a round hole that a screwdriver can't grip. (Remember, I unscrew it using the wingnuts to replace the batteries.)
The unit itself certainly seems realistic to me. It can be set up to flash different ways and when you punch numbers it beeps. Whether it will keep all undesireables out is hard to say, but I think it will certainly help."

Key Pads,

"These things are great! They look and act just like the real thing. In the neighborhood where I live the houses all around me have been burglarized over the last year but mine has been overlooked. The units run for 2 years on 4 AA batteries so they are not maintenance intensive. I've put them on every door I have. If you want an inexpensive way to protect your property without having to invest a fortune in a security system - I recommend these. You can even "key in and out" on the pad for show if you want. Pretty neat!"

"Would probably look more realistic if it were plastic, but it does flash and have real buttons. Much better than a real alarm that costs $$ and goes off when you don't want it to!"
