A real time saver,
November 28, 2006

"With a large yard, I spent more time walking back and forth to refill the standard sprayer than I did spraying. This units 5.3 gallon capacity keeps me working without being to heavy to move around with. The pump system works well with a minimum of movement and being able to constantly spray while pumping lets me cover a lot of area in a short time. The tank is easy to clean and assemble which will help keep it in good condition for many seasons. If you spend a lot of time spraying the same liquids, this unit will not let you down."

Significant Support,
January 21, 2008

"To clean regularly forming (Florida) algae/mildew on two story home is a major task. A recently found chlorine based product that can be sprayed on the home was experienced as considerably easier than pressure washing, yet is still a horrendous task. Prior sprayers were short on capacity, so would require additional mixing and toting, not to mention, they would quickly deteriorate as a result of the chlorine. However, this backpack sprayer handled the chlorine based product without a problem, and, clearly impacted the intensity of this job significantly. I highly recommend this product."

Horrible harness system,
July 27, 2007
By ensoll

"BAD: -Cheap harness system, no padding or cross bracing. Extremely insufficient for the 55+ fully loaded tank. Can't say enough bad things about it. -Poorly written assembly instructions augmented with lousy customer support when you call for clarification (in my experience - may not be the same for someone else). -If you let the pump handle go, it raises up to your armpit. It is very difficult to regain use of the pump handle with your left hand, especially since you will have very little blood circulation left due to the lousy shoulder straps. Your right hand/arm will be preoccupied by having to hold the sprayer wand so you wil be left trying to twist your left hand in behind the pump handle to grab it (itch your left armpit with your left hand, palm turned toward the front). GOOD: -Tank is suitable for the job. It is easy to fill, has a nice strainer. Expect to last a long time. -Pump works well (if you have any blood circulation left after a few minutes of carrying the tank and pumping). Provided great pressure. -Pump linkage is simple and durable (though it crosses right over an important label printed on the side of the tank) -Sprayer is great. Brass nozzle is nice. Sprayer has an "on" lock (but you will need your left hand to disengage it, following which, refer to the last entry under "BAD" above). Conclusion: If it had an intelligently designed harness system on it, I would keep it. I can't see myself using this thing for the next 10 years."

Back Pack Sprayer,
July 10, 2007
By txpestcontrol

"This is a well built sprayer. The down side to the sprayer is that it is real hard to pump up the pressure. it will handle alot of pressure but trying to pump it up to a high pressure is a diff. story. The sprayer is worth the money i payed for it though."

SP Backpack Sprayer Model 01YT101-1,
July 9, 2007
By WilliamII

"I have used my SP Sprayer to spray my 1 Acre lawn and found it to be great. I did not have to stop and refill a sprayer after a gallon usage and the pressure provided by the SP Sprayer was high enough to thoroughly cover the grass and weeds. I have a problem of "Creeping Charlie" and I find that I can keep it under control with the SP Sprayer."
