Northern Industrial Appliance Truck,
August 18, 2008
By Hormonal

"Great design-- Leverage makes it easy to handle large and heavy appliances. However, the rollers that are supposed to make stair passage easier were a total failure, and the belts were pretty much ruined on first use: concrete stairs tore them up when they failed to move. Subsequently, I sprayed them with a lubricant. They roll eaiser, but are likely to leave oily stains on stairs they encounter."

Weak strap,
June 2, 2008
By bowhunter

"I am not very happy with the strap that holds the appliance to the cart. The spring is very weak and you have to rewind the strap by hand. This is going to make using this cart quite annoying since once you release the lock to the ratchet, you're going to have to rewind the strap. Its a nice cart, made well but the strap is going to need attention. I would give this cart 2 1/2 stars but didn't have that option."

moving a gun safe,

"I found the appliance dolly easy to use and adquetly sturdy. You should take it slow when carring a extremly heavy load, seemed a tiny bit wobbly, but did the job we needed, it moved the 700 lb + safe. I would recommend this dolly."

Appliance Truck,
October 29, 2007
By booboom

"The first few times i used this applaince truck , the wheels seem to be to small to balance the load. Also the metal brace between the back wheels bent, which made it very hard to turn and balance while pushing or pulling. Since then i put bigger washers where the back wheels are until i get another support brace made, which i will probably modify with bigger wheels"

Bad equipment,
October 9, 2007
By forbesmover
from Myrtle Beach,SC

"I purchased 4 of these dollies through your company recently and had a bad experience with all 4 of them. The bearings in the breakback wheels fell out with the first use of the product. This happen to all 4 dollies. Replacement wheels were sent ASAP but had the same results. I was thankful that Northern Equipment honored their satisfaction policy and credited me back the purchase price. Their honesty prompted me to make them my first choice for ordering equipment in the future. Thank you for your great customer service personel that helped me with this problem. Scott"

Northern Industrial Appliance Truck — 1200-Lb. Cap,
March 6, 2007
By Cysnake

"Very nice hand truck. All in all it does the job, but the reason im giving it a 3 out of 4 stars is because it came in with half of the wheels laying in the bottom of the box that were not tightened on the frame, (luckily all the pieces were there due to the poor condition of the box) and the "auto rewind" does not function, i have to manually crank it back in. The locking latch works, but seems like it could be mounted to the frame better you have to position it first before cranking the straps because it tends to kick up or down off of the gears. With just a little re-engineering this hand truck could be the best one out there, especially for the money. It does hold up to heavy loads really well, and seems to get the job done."
