Not just for generators,

"I originally purchased this handy sling to make my 5500 watt generator more portable. I didn't want to purchase the wheel kit because I didn't want to sacrifice the additional floor space where I normally store the generator. After using the sling several times to move the generator I kept thinking how well constructed and user friendly it was. Other uses soon developed such as carrying my utility tractor's belly mower to winter storage. The double hooks with their heavy coating seem to grip securely to whatever I have that needs to be carried and there is never any damage or scraped paint. The integral spreader tubes always seem to make any load I lift stay level and stable while I transport the item with my loader bucket and hitch reciever clamp with lift ring. This great pair of Northern products has seen a lot of work around my shop."

LiftAll Generator Lifting Harness,
January 21, 2008
By 13244930from Rock Hill, NY
"I purchased this Lifting Harness to use in lifting my 10K Watt generator in and out of my truck. This harness is well constructed with very strong and flexible nylon web straps. The rubber coated double left and right hooks prevent the harness from coming unhooked. The way the harness is constructed keeps the hooks and straps properly spaced so they don't slip or slide together.
When lifting my generator with this lifting harness, my generator stays level and doesn't tilt to one side, the lifting harness keeps the generator level when setting it down to the ground.
The straps on the lifting harness are long enough to handle any size generator. If you are loading into a space with limited height, like my box truck or a van, you can use the straps to wrap around the frame railing and secure the straps by hooking the double left and right hooks around each strap. This shortens the length of the straps so you can move the generator into a van or a box truck where height space is limited.
There's probably a thousand uses for this lifting harness, for loads up to the 500 Lbs. rating."

Genset Lifting Harness,
October 8, 2007
By RobertHfrom MidSouth
"Had to lift 3 portable diesel gensets into trailers and without the harness it would have taken considerably longer and more expense to fab or buy another sling harness. Coated hooks prevented any damage to the frame paint. Worked well and even forklift could be used instead of an engine or overhead hoist to lift portable genset. Well-made harness."
