The thermostat is working great,

"I have a part of my kitchen cantilevered beyond my basement. The water pipes were freezing during the coldest weather here so I placed this thermostat between the joists with the water pipes and conncected a small computer fan to circulate basement air into the area when it gets cold. Works great and very efficient."

"This is a sweet, simple, rugged, well made thermostat switch. They even include clear instructions on how to reverse the hot or cold on, off parameters. Love it."

Good for multiple applications,

"This thermostat has a reversible relay so you can make it turn something on or off depending on whether you want it to activate from cold or heat. I reversed the relay wires (included instructions with product) and I use mine to operate a wood stove fan. When the temp on the stove gets up the fan turns on and when the wood stove cools down the fan shuts off. The thermostat is obviously adjustable and is very easy to operate. It is plastic so you have to move it far enough away from hot items not to melt it. I put mine about 18 inches from my wood stove and it works great and does not get that hot. I highly recommend this as an energy saving must have!!"

Portable Thermostat -model KP16110,
October 15, 2007

"I was seeking a thermostate that could be used with a portable electric heater in my small greenhouse. There were two in your catalogue and it was difficult to determine the difference between them and it was necessary to call you in order to determine that.
It would have been helpful to have indicated that the KP16110 did not have to be hard wired and it also has a waterproof cover which makes it ideal for a greenhouse. I found it very easy to install and it works very well. It did not come with any instructions and it was difficult to determine exactly how to set the thermostate for the required temperature. The figures on the dial are very small, so difficult to understand how they should be set. However, once that is determined, it is a very good product. An insert showing how to set the dial or printing that information on the box, would be helpful."

Saving us money!,
November 16, 2006

"We had been looking for a thermostat to keep our well house from freezing, so we wouldn't have to leave the shop heater in it on all winter. This is the only one we could find, and it's perfect since it is designed to handle wet environments. Our well house is a comfortable 45-55 degrees, the shop heater isn't getting too hot, turning itself off, and letting everything freeze, and the best part is we're saving easily $100 a month on electricity. This thermostat paid for itself in 1 month!!"
