Only good for newer sprayers.,
August 11, 2008

"It appears to be a good spray gun and comes with extra spray tips, however the gun does not fit older North Star model sprayers sold in the past by Northern. I went to my local farm stores looking for an adapter to make it work however there wasn't one to be found. Also, parts on this gun are not interchangeable with parts on the older model guns so you can't use it to repair the older equipment. On the positive side, not expecting a reply, I emailed the manufacturer in China to see if they had an adapter, and actually got a reply of 'no adapter', but with a potential solution for rigging it using several reducers, hoses and clamps, but that is more cost and trouble than the gun is worth. In short, only buy this item to use on newer sprayers."

Great Spray Wand,
March 18, 2008
By excob

"I have used this spray wand for over 3 months and use it weekly spraying an average of 2 gallons per week. I have had absolutely no problems with this wand. The replacable tips offer a good variety of spray patterns. As a matter of fact, I am only reviewing this item because I came back to purchase my second wand. I highly recommend this wand."

Not worth the cheap price,
September 9, 2007

"Wand poorly engineered. The different components are not fastened together. Wand falls apart when you least expect it. This can cause you to spill herbicide or insecticide in unwanted areas. If you are spraying over water, as I often am, wand can fall apart and sink to bottom. Wand is cheaply priced but even more cheaply constructed. If you use this wand, you better have a backup with you."

went cheap,

"I should have spent a little more! I go through three or four wands a year, They break or get run over?? This one falls apart. The jamb nut from the spray handle to the wand wont stay tight and the wand falls off. Also the trigger sticks open and i must use two hands to close it."

A piece of junk,

"This the only product I've ever bought from Northern that I wasn't satisfied with. I bought it when I got the battery powered back pack (which I think will be great, once I find a wand and/or spray tip that works)."
