Not Bulletproof but Still a Good Value, April 24, 2008

"I bought this dethatcher last spring. It took me about two hours to put it together. All the parts fit together as they should and nothing was broken or missing.

I've used this unit about half a dozen times since then, with good results. It pulls up the thatch without ripping out chunks of grass/sod. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that the steel in the body and frame isn't as heavy as it might be. The design of the unit coupled with the lighter guage metal could lead to issues with bending/metal fatigue down the line.

Overall, though, very pleased with the unit and felt it was a good buy."

"This is the second Agri-Fab dethatcher I have purchased over the past 7 years. They have both held up very well and are easy to use. Assembly takes a bit of time, but is nothing too complicated. You can't beat these units for effectiveness, ease of use and value."
