"Not for the thick stuff like the metal blades whick I also purchased. But if you have stubborn weeds along a retaining wall etc these work well and won't damage any stone walls etc."

"The nylon blades cut well and are easy to replace when they break. Nylon string is cheaper, but is less effective, and is more of a pain."
