"This chain breaker came apart the first time I used it, a real piece of junk. I should have bought one at the local hardware store, heck, a pair of pliers could have done a better job of breaking chain."

Cheap but useless,

"I am a professional with 35 years experience in automated manufacturing systems, processes, tools and methods. I am passionate about tools and have a new Cedar Post business with heavy emphasis on the use of chain saws. This tool peaked my interest since I spend a small fortune on chains and need to "shorten" them for re-use.
Do not waste your money on this one. Not only did it come with absolutely NO USER INSTRUCTIONS, MANUAL OR EVEN A TIP SHEET, it is so small as to not even be capable of cracking miniature pecans. It is impossible to insert a chain saw chain bigger than a shoe lace into. It is impossible to line the pin up with the rivet.
My partner and I spent four hours just trying to remove one rivet.
The patent should be revoked and the inventor's heirs forced to refund the purchase price about 100 times over.
Thank you,
Tommy T"
