"I received this model some time back. It has worked perfectly. I use it with air tools and with a framing hammer it never lets up. With a fast recovery time, for the larger tank model."

"I purchased a similar model with a 10 gallon tank and this product has worked well. If you need to run small tools, such as air ratchets, air chisels and muffler cutters for short periods of time and are on a budget this is a great starter compressor."

A good value,

"Although the first compressor arrived with a broken air filter, Northern picked up the damaged unit and sent out a new one no problems. The staff was very responsive and no hassle. When the new compressor arrived set up was easy, just attach the wheels and feet, pour in about a quart of oil, and you are good to go. The instruction manual is mininal. No info regarding break-in or usage. It's available online for review. I priced checked extensively prior to order and this compressor had the best size and motor for the price (especially when on sale). The sound of the unit is less than a smaller compressor that I had previously. Controls are handy but I will need to get filter/oiler. Pressure was good to blow out sprinkler system prior to winter freeze and run air tools. Vertical set up worked for me since it takes up less floor space and although a lot of the weight was near the top, the unit was stable."
