Poor response on Warranty Claim,
November 17, 2008
By HouTexGuyfrom Houston, TX
"I bought this generator in the aftermath of Hurricane Ike. It worked very well for me, and I was quite happy with it., for the price. It would stall every hour to two hours, but would start right back up. After my power was restored, I loaned the generator to a friend of a friend who was still without. Those people managed to burn it up - not sure whether it was due to defective equipment or their failure to keep it filled with oil. My problem with All Power America is that I have been unable to contact them on the warranty claim. I have emailed them without response, and have sat on call on their 800 number for at least half an hour."

Don't Waste Ur Money,
November 16, 2008
By FedMan
"Started right up the first time but was a real battle the second time. On the third start up attempt the CHEAP plastic pull cord assembly broke (the unit was only 1 month old). This unit is built really cheaply, all the nuts/bolts were loose on arrival. Allot of plastic instead of metal parts."

Great Little Generator,
October 3, 2008
By IkeVictimfrom Seabrook, Texas
"Just like RubNSmoke said: Bought this four days before Ike hit and cranked it up. Ran it for almost two weeks until we got power back. I was running 2 refridgerators, a deep freeze, a small window unit, TV, DVDs, etc. I was getting 18 hours on a tank of gas (4 gal). Schweet! I let the oil get about an ounce low when it was sitting at an angle and the oil level sensor shut it down. Perfect! One pull starting everytime."

What a great product.,
September 28, 2008
By RubNSmokefrom Houston, Tx.
"I do Barbecue Cook- Offs here in the Houston area about 7 times a year and originally purchased this generator to run the A/C and lights on the Pop- Up trailer I stay in when Im Competing. I bought it about 2 months ago and it worked great at the last cook I did. Then Hurricane Ike hit. This little generator was started on the Saturday after the hurricane hit and ran until the next Sunday NON- STOP except to check the oil and add a little here and there. (8 FULL Days) At any given time I was running (all at the same time) my refridgerator freezer in the kitchen, a X-Tra freezer in the garage, a 32 inch Color T.V. a D.V.D. player and 3-4 lights. At night I would unhook the X-tra freezer and turn off all of the lights in the house and hook up my Pop- Up and crank the A/C and sleep. I would fill the generator with fuel about 3 times a day (about 10-12 gallons a day.) but it did save all of our food, kept us with Ice and saved about $10,000.00 in product for my friends Restaurant. This generator has paid for itself 1,000 times over. I cannot reccomend this generator enough, this is the one to get if you are wanting portable power. Just be sure the 120v switch is on the 120v setting and not the 120/ 240 setting and youre good to go!!!! The noise level isnt that bad and it actually helped me to sleep after a couple of days!"

Love It!!!,
August 11, 2008
By wldlndfyrfytrfrom Yuma,Az EMT/Firefighter/Welder/Fabricator
"This is one sweet generator. I put the wheels and tow handle on, gassed it up, checked the motor oil, and gave it one pull. Wow, it fired right up. About 15 minutes later my wife came out and asked if I was going to start the new generator up. Boy was she supprised to find out it had been running all along. It's amazingly quiet. So, I thought, lets try it out. Plugged in all the power tools I could. Didn't faze it at all. Fired up my welder. It barely came up on high idle. The plan for this machine is for emergency power, camping power, and to power my side business, Portable welding repair out at the local sandunes. It is more than capable and up to the task."

All Power America Portable Generator — 3500 Watt,
August 11, 2008
By SHD08from Glen Ellyn, IL
"I purchased the generator for my daughter located in the Iowa City area. As you know this area was hit with flooding and power outages. I wanted peace of mind that my daughter would not be without power to run essentials such as sump-pumps, refrigerator and freezer. The generator was delivered on time and with some very minor set-up it was ready and able to run. My daughter reported that it started on the first pull and was able to handle the requirements it was purchased for. We both are very pleased with the Product and Service from Northern Tool & Equipment!"
