"I work in restaurant repair business and this little welder really comes in handy. I have welded everything from 18 gauge stainless steel up to 3/16 stainless with the tig torch. I have even welded a 5/16 bolt to 12 gauge stainless steel. Starting and stopping the arc is a little tricky at first, but once you get the hang of it you'll really like the results you get with this unit. In stick mode I have used it to weld stainless and mild steel up to 12 gauge using 1/16 electrodes. If your sticking to light gauge material you can't go wrong with this unit."
