Good buy with minor modifications,

"It works great on my Kubota 2230 but is no challenge to the tractor. If you have the lifting power you may want to consider spending a little more to get the 30 inch scoop. The hinge pins on the scoop are a real affront to my engineer’s brain. They are nothing more than ¾” bolts and there is a half inch clearance on each side between the scoop and frame. I bought two ¾” x 4-1/2” long studs, threaded on the ends only with bearing space in the middle and 2 one-piece threaded clamp-on–collars, for spacers. You could also use 7/16” thick jam nuts. I fastened the stud to the scoop with the collar and the nut that came with the scoop and cut off the extra stud leaving a generous one inch to go through the hole in the frame. I also melted some wax from a toilet ring onto all the threads to keep them from rusting together for the unlikely event that I would want to take it apart. It also makes a great high pressure lube but probably won’t last long in the dirt. All in all it is a good product and I would buy it again."

Dirt Scoop,

"This scoop came without a user's manual, only a list of safety precautions. It took several weeks to get a resemblance of a manual from the company, and another week to figure out what it said. I still don't know what parts of this scoop are for. In use, it is o.k., except that it won't ride level on my tractor, and can carry only about 1/3 load (gravel, etc.)"
