Cool Mover!,

"In the heat of the summer one may see all types of pedestal fans in use at homes, retail business or the workplace. They are usually white plastic, quiet, inefficient, and easily broken. I first ran across a fan such as this when I was working light construction in the late 80's. I made a mental note to purchase one in the future, once I had bought a house.
I primarily use the fan to move air condtioned coolness from room to room, or from the cool room downstairs, up the stairs. The three speeds work very well for this purpose. The adjustable height is also very helpful.
The fact that this machine oscillates is an added bonus. The sweeping motion, directing air around the room can help cool down a hot space in a very short amount of time. If your house has been shut up all day and you need to ventilate, this fan really does the job.
I personally do not mind the sound of a powerful engine. At the lowest speed this fan does sound like a prop plane. With the increased speeds, the sound does not differ too much. It will be difficult to hear music, or the television while this fan is working.
Overall construction is first rate. Except for the on/off knob, oscillation "plunger", and power cord, everything is metal. The base is nicely weighted. It would be extremely difficult for this equipment to be knocked over. The blade guard was very easy "to seat" when assembling the fan. I know from past experience that this simple act can be very frustrating. As a matter of fact, assembly is quite easily accomplished. I believe it probably took less than 20 minutes to get the unit up and running.
I definitely give the unit as many stars as allowed, and have already recommended the FlowPro Commercial Pedestal Fan to friends and family."

"I do wish this fan was a bit taller, but I knew this before I bought it based on another review. It works just fine and moves a lot of air. It does not have that old school industrial feel in the materials, but it does what is required. Assembly required, but not really that hard. It takes about 15 min. to put it together."
