"This saw was purchased for some lighter cutting that did not require my heavier 20" chainsaw. The saw is light and cuts fast and well through logs up to about 12 inches in diameter. It worked fine right out of the box now for about 3 months. There are a couple of minor negatives: When the saw is cold it is hard to start. After several attempts it will start and then it needs to idle for about a minute before use. Once started it runs smoothly, relatively quiet and with less exhaust fumes than my other saw. Unlike my other saw it requires high octane gas and has a different oil/gas ratio so I cannot use the same fuel can for both saws .. a minor inconvenience."
