"Great little welder for light welding jobs, smooth arc start and easy to learn with. Definitely worth the money"

"I asked my Fiance to get me this welder to, first, learn to weld, and then be able to fix my go-kart myself. Also to build my own go-kart... Well...I've got welding down pretty good now, and I've been more than able to weld on my go-kart's frame with this little noise maker. I've got an old manco fun kart, and the frame is just a hair over a 1/4" thick, and I've been able to weld that with no problems at all. The rating of 3/16" is, in my eyes, a bit modest. As long as you take your time, and prepare the surfaces, and angle the surfaces on thicker joints. You'll have no problem welding with this little thing. Anyways, it's a long way of saying it, but what I'm saying is I've got a a guy that lives down the block, and he's got the Hobart Stickmate 220V, and he's impressed with this little one. So I'd recommend getting it. Plus...You CANNOT beat the price."
