"These lights were not what I expected but they look good and do light up a portion of our flowers. The best part, they don't require any electrical hook-up and can be put any where the sun shines."

Not built for outdoor use,

"Bought a set of these for my houseboat. Work well, but the screws on the solar collection unit are already rusting (freshwater). I would expect something designed for outdoor use to have the appropriate hardware for exposure to the elements, especially at this price."

"This string is about 10 feet long. I bought 2 and ran them down each side of my metal car cover. Works great. I followed the instructions to let them charge for three days before turning them on. I just use the constant setting but there is also a blinking feature."
