Can't You Make It Just A Little Better ???,
May 25, 2008

"This will be the 4th sprayer I have purchased over the past 10 years... And for the most part.. Sprayer operates well, and is a good value.. But I wish Northern would address the same complaints that most of us have. That CHEAP Plastic wand, and hose are certainly something that could be improved with just a little expense... I immediately replace the hose with about 25-Ft of garden hose, and replace the plastic hose attachment with a 3/8" steel nipple... Slip the garden hose over the nipple, and clamp it with a "C" Clamp.. This obviously adds length for spraying, but also keeps the plastic nipple from breaking if you pull the hose a little tight... And I always replace the spray wand with another from a quality garden sprayer.... I still haven't figured out how to get more than 2-3 years life from the pump though.. It just doesn't seem to want to last very long..."

Disappointed,
May 7, 2008

"I am very disappointed in this unit. I have several sprayers, both back pack and tow behind that I have used over the years, and still use to this day. I needed a unit that would fit on the back of my Quad for hard to get to areas. I've only had the unit a couple weeks and used it twice, and it's one problem after another. Leaks everywhere, no matter how tight I screw the clamps. I put the system together (twice), check it with water plain, then get out in the field, and under working conditions, it leaks all over the place. Note that this is not the first sprayer I've worked with. I've never had problems like this. I ended up replacing the hose to solve the problem, although I feel the problem is the fittings or excess pressure in the pump, and I still haven't completely solved the issue. The wand broke the second time I used it. (I'm still using wands on other sprayers that are almost ten years old without a problem) Don't use this unit with a 7.5 amp fuse protection, because the fuse will blow almost immediately. I feel the Agri-Fab tow behind sprayer that I believe I bought from Northern Tool five or six years ago is much better built. I never had these kind of problems."

16 gallon spot sprayer,
April 28, 2008
By rustinorygun

"Had this sprayer for about one week and have run over 80 gallons of spray through it. Good spray pattern with course droplets minimizing drift. Large pump motor and at 2.2 gallon capacity it has more than enough pressure and volume to do the job. I would recommend adding another 15 feet of hose for those hard to reach areas. Would I buy this sprayer again? YES. Good quality and value and should last a long time with proper care."

Homeowners sprayer,

"This little sprayer is a great asset around the home. I put this in a cart that I tow around behind my lawn mower and it is a great way to spray the lawn with fertilizers, weed control and insect control. With the 16 gallon capacity, you can spray the whole yard with one tank full. Sure makes keeping the fireants away much easier when you can spray the whole yard in short time. Only problem is,the neighbors will want you to spray their yards also."

electric sprayer,
April 14, 2008
By MailmanBob

"It was everything I wanted. well worth the extra money over the 1. gpm sprayers. I have sprayed several tanks at a time with no hesitation from the unit. I have 5 acres of brush to keep under control. I live in the back country near San Diego so we have a lot of heavier brush that needs several applications of vegetation killer. Only negative thing is that I had to put a cigarette lighter end on the power supply cord."
