Chicago Pneumatic Air Compressor,
August 11, 2008

"I received this Compressor in good condition and had no problems in installing the 220/240 cord. The manufacturer has done an excellent job and the workmanship and quality is very good. I did have one minor problem with the air pressure gage interfering with the pressure control housing which was causing the tank to lose pressure very slowly. I contacted the manfacture and we discussed the issue and they immediately sent a new gage and control assembly which took care of the issue. I am overall very pleased with the unit and the service. I am pleased that I choose and bought this Comprtessor from Northern and would recommend this compressor to anyone looking to purchase one."

Lots of heat and tube failure,
August 4, 2008

"the unit generates a lot of heat, and it kept blowing off the tube from the check valve to the pressure switch...I had to call Chicago P. and have them send out an upgraded tube....Its working now, but its a cheesy setup. The last unit I had the tube was steel not plastic......Oh and this was on the first day of use...."

Oustanding Compressor,

"Excellent compressor. Arrived ready to hook up and use. I am very impressed. I remember using Chicago Pnuematic equipment in my shop class 30 years ago. Great to see they've started making some units that are more affordable for the average guy. My decision to go with this compressor came down to 4 things 1- It's made by a reputable company that's been around for a long time, 2- The compressor comes from Rock Hill, South Carolina ,USA 3- The compressor provides more CFM @ 90 PSI than the Ingersoll Rand SS3L3 4- The compressor cost $100 less than the SS3L3. Thanks Northern Tool."
