Great Toy!,

"This is a great toy and could be useful for anyone's small business as well. I have a Honda Insight and always wanted to let the world know what my gas mileage is. This does the trick!
The only downsides are that: 1. The default message, "Say it with Messenger" (an ad for this product), comes up automatically unless you program your message and specify "only". If you forget, your message displays just once and then the marquee reverts to the ad. 2. You are given 10 memory locations for your own messages. The 99 pre-programmed messages are not editable, although you can use/modify them to create one of your 10. Many of the pre-programmed messages are cute (e.g., "If you can read this I can hit my brakes and sue you") but I would've liked to have more freedom to create more of my own. 3. Programming messages is tricky since you must aim the remote at the back side of the device, then go around to the front to make sure you got the right key.
Otherwise, the cord is about 12 feet long (plenty long to reach your 12V outlet), the display is bright (it shows well through my Insight's slightly tinted rear "viewport"), and the device mounts well (I used Velcro so I could move it to another vehicle if desired). You can program it to display messages backwards so they appear forward in a mirror, a useful feature if you want to put this in your front window. I'm surprised I've never seen any others of these on the road - it's pretty neat! Oh, and don't be driving and trying to program this thing at the same time - I'll have to flash you my message: "Hang up and drive!""
